Act Today to Restore Our Democracy
Tina Staik's general 'call to action'
What should be evident by now is that it is not enough just writing or
emailing messages to Congress! Our fingers are bruised, yet the silence
is deafening!
Check out other possibilities with links below, and inform like-minded
members, friends, organizations, and so on, who want to join the activism
that faithful and hard-working Americans have organized.
While it may be uncomfortable for many of us, in light of the respect
we have for our Constitution, the "rule of law," and so on, it would be
historically disastrous for Americans to quietly tolerate the unethical
and illegal takeover of our three branches of government, the selection
of president by the US Supreme court, the forceful implementation of right
wing and corporate agenda, the concerted efforts of government and media
in silencing of events in Florida elections and nationwide, and so on
- the list goes on. In short, a few Americans, backed by a lot of money,
are shamelessly willing to use any means possible to establish power and
silence the majority of Americans - WE THE PEOPLE - transforming our budding,
progressive, national and international peace-loving country into a working-people-woman-minorities-and-child
marginalizing, cold-war zone in just a few months!
Act today to restore our democracy from the grip of the right wing
backlash!
